Adminisration

All teachers and researchers of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology are the members of the BSERT. The BSERT has been empowered by the Syndicate of the University to function independently. Subject to the final approval of the Vice-Chancellor of this University the activities of the Bureau are administered by an Executive Committee which is composed as follows:

Chairman

Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology.

Members

1. Heads of all the five departments of the faculty.
2. Co-ordinator, Committee for Advanced Studies and Research, BAU.
3. Two members of the Bureau nominated by the Chairman for a term of two years.
4. Two experts dealing with socioeconomic research from institutions outside BAU nominated by the Vice-Chancellor for a term of two years.

The executive officer of the Bureau is the Director, who works under the guidance and advice of the Chairman of the Bureau. The Bureau has altogether six full-time staff members including the Additional Director who are also full-time staff members including the Additional Director who are also full-time employees of the University.

For its publications, the Bureau has an Editorial Board, the members of which are nominated by the Executive Committee of the Bureau for a term of two years.
